Ryan checked in for The City Of Long Beach out of Pierpoint Landing. Today we had excellent fishing. We had limits of sculpin to start off our day, and then we ended up catching our limits of red snapper. We also caught lots of other miscellaneous rockfish, some whitefish, and some quality sheephead with our largest in the 10-13 lb range. All around really good fishing. Fishing has been nothing less than "as good as it gets" for the last few days. The fish have been biting really well. Ryan has the latest fish report for you below.

Ryan checked in for The City Of Long Beach out of Pierpoint Landing. We had 36 passengers on the boat today. Good fishing on the bottom. Limits of sculpin and pretty much limits of the red snapper, and a lot of other miscellaneous rockfish and whitefish to go along with it. We also had some standout sheephead. Bobby checking in for The City Of Long Beach out of Pierpoint Landing. Pretty good fishing today, really nice weather. We had 12 people today. We had 45 or so rockfish, 24 red snapper, 60 sculpin, 45 or so whitefish, 3 sand bass, and a bunch of sand dabs and other stuff. Really good bottom fishing for our group today. We drifted around and got some really nice size reds and nice size sculpin to top off the bags. Bobby has the latest fish report for you below.

Dealt with a big swell and a lot of seasick people, but still, we were very close to limits of rockfish and did fairly decent with the whitefish and other critters to go with it. Fairly good fishing just a lot of casualties because there were a lot of seasick people and newtimers, but other than that the fishing was very good. It would have been a lot better if we had more people standing on the deck, but we made a day of it and got pretty much what we needed from it. Bobby checked in for the City of Long Beach out of Pierpoint Landing. They finished off their 3/4-day charter with 110 rockfish, 145 Boccacio, and 25 whitefish for their 28 anglers! Decent bottom fishing and nice weather again for our charter group today!!!
Shut down for the Grand Prix this weekend but plenty of room next week!!!

Bobby checking in for The City Of Long Beach out of Pierpoint Landing. Our fish count for 27 anglers was 105 grouper, 125 miscellaneous rockfish, 36 red snapper, 120 sculpin, and about 40-50 whitefish there too. Pretty good fishing overall today for our group. Really really good grouper fishing on the sardine. The fish were anywhere from 2-5 pounds. The jackpot was like a 6 or 7 pounder. Most of our bigger fish were on the live bait. We had 13 anglers today, 26 red snapper, limits of sculpin, around 70 or so rockfish, and 20 or so grouper, with about 100 sanddab, and 35 whitefish to go with to go with it. Ryan checking in for The City Of Long Beach out of Pierpoint Landing. We had a little bit of weather, not terribly bad by any means. The day started off a little slower and we had to move around a little bit, but ended up doing well. We ended up capturing close to limits of rockfish, mainly red snappers. We had some nice groupers in the mix too, better grade. All the snappers that we caught today were better quality and we limited out on those fairly quickly. We also caught some sheephead and a decent amount of whitefish to go along with it. All in all a good fishing day considering. Moving forward tomorrow we are offline due the weather. We're gonna reorganize and get back out there on Sunday. We need some more people to make it a go. Ryan has the current fish report for you below.

We capitalized on the fairly decent amount of whitefish and caught a few sheephead, some sculpin, and other things to go along with it. That's how our day went. A lot better than last time. Ryan checked in for the City of Long Beach out of Pierpoint Landing. We had a fairly good day. We ended up catching limits of whitefish for our 31 anglers. We got 310 whitefish, close to 31 sheephead, miscellaneous range on those things, and other critters in the mix to go along with it. We got lots of throwback fish that hopefully in the near future we can put in the back. We decended them like you're supposed to do but still fairly good fishing. Lots of sculpin in the mix as well. So that's what w're gonna do for the next few weeks till April 1st when we can focus on the rockfish. Ryan has the current fish report for you below.
