We had excellent sand bass fishing, once again. We caught limits of sand bass and limits of sculpin, again. Andrew checked in for the Enterprise out of Pierpoint Landing. Hey, guys. Thursday morning sand bass report. It's hitting. Real good fishing here this morning. One of the better mornings we've had in a while now in a few weeks. It's an incredible volume today and fish are really biting well for our charter group here. They bite the rent rods just fine. Surface, slider and anchovy again, doing real good. Plastics, obviously, and the drop loops as well. Just real good fishing, beautiful weather. Not a breath of wind. A little hot, but no wind. We're enjoying it. The group's having a great time and they're really biting good here today. So hopefully we can wrap this up here early this morning and then we'll go do a bunch of other things throughout the day for our group.  I'll see you soon. See ya. Limits of sand bass, limit of sculpin with a few halibut--one big keeper, and a few other short ones. The bass fishing remains very good. The best way to catch a bass today was on a small sliding sinker, and a #1 or #2 hook is all you need for the anchovy. Very good anchovies up on the surface real well today. Andrew checked in for the Enterprise out of Pierpoint Landing. Just calling in there, had some good sand bass fishing again today. Biting a little earlier. They started out pretty good little bite, made one move, and they just keep biting here. So, so far, so good on the nice big sand bass, eating the fly line real well, plastics, drop loops, those A-rig things. Guys are throwing those already, got their limits. And a couple of guys, fly line and baits doing really well as well. And plunking away on the drop loop. We do have a couple of halibut as well, one nice big one. And one, I think, we're measuring up right now. But good fishing. No wind. It's been windy the last couple of days, but no wind today. And really good start to our day on the sand bass here. Actually, a couple of halibut. And if things are really looking good here, we'll check back with you this afternoon with our final wrap up. Thanks a lot. Ryan checked in for the City of Long Beach out of Pierpoint Landing. We didn't catch very much bass today, we got a handful of bass. We looked around, just all the fish are broken apart, it's just, didn't see the big schools that we were seeing previously. Maybe it's just an off day, I don't know, water's all rolled over, very, very windy today, so maybe that had something to do with it. We bailed outside and when caught our Sculpin, we ended up with limited Sculpin for our group and a handful of bass. Start all over again tomorrow, hopefully have a little bit nicer weather and hopefully when you see the schools of fish that we were seeing a week ago, been really off in the bass department here the last few days, especially day side. Donny checked in for Pierpoint Landing. Hey guys, here's a schedule update. The City of Long Beach is leaving at 10 o'clock today, going for sure. And then the whole rest of the week, the Enterprise leaves at 6 a.m. Three-quarter day fishing, sand bass, barracuda, sculpin, and they're going for sure.

Andrew checked in for the Enterprise out of Pierpoint Landing.Our final wrap-up for Sunday, like I mentioned earlier, just really good fishing again. Sand bass, still biting. Really good fishing this afternoon with sand bass. With the reduced limit on the sand bass, it gives us a lot of time to fish other things. So we also obviously caught the sculpin. No problem catching them as well. And then we did some red fishing. Red fishing was incredible. Easy going on the reds. Tried a couple other ones for lots of chilies and other bottom-drawer rockfish were biting as well. So good coastal fishing. Gives us all day to fish. And the lack of barracuda around right now, we just fill up our days, just fill the sacks with good evening stuff. And sand bass fishing remains very good. So great fishing, good times, beautiful weather. Water's really warming up again here. It's in the mid to upper 60s, so it's bouncing back real fast. L And we will check back in on the next one. Bobby checked in for the City of Long Beach out of Pierpoint Landing. We had a decent day today, nothing special, but it was decent. Our 30 anglers caught limits of sculpin, then we went and caught some bass, so I think we ended up with 43 of those. So, altogether we had 150 sculpin and 43 sand bass. We had a little bit slower pick on the bass for us today. Didn't really bust wide open at any point, but had a steady pick all around, it wasn't anything crazy. I think we fished those for about an hour and a half, then filled the sacks. Bobby has the latest fish report and tackle recommendations for you.

Bobby checked in for the City of Long Beach out of Pierpoint Landing. Not too bad of a day for us today. We didn't get our limit, but we were close. At the first spot we stopped on, it was wide open for about 20-30 minutes until we got shut down by 2 giant seals. They made us have to go look a little more, so we were scratching away the rest of the day. But we picked up some nicer bass up to 6 or 7 pounds. Our 39 anglers on a 1/2-Day caught 127 sand bass. They're jumping out of the water, can't get a lure through them, eating everything that hits the water. We’re already done, it took maybe 40 minutes, and all nice big fish, beautiful weather and they’re absolutely chill here this morning. Ryan checked in for the City of Long Beach out of Pierpoint Landing. We had, I think, roughly about 30 anglers there. We ended up with a limit of bass. Had to really work at it today. Had to fish a few spots to get what we needed there, but managed to scrape it together. So that's kind of what happened today. Top recommendations for the remainder of the week for fishing the bass, then you want to have at least a four-ounce torpedo sinker and a couple of size number two hooks for the anchovies and maybe a plastic lure. And if we have to opt out for the sculpin fishing, then you're going to want to have a eight-ounce weight with some lead heads to go along with that, depending upon the situation if we have to do that. So those are the two different ways of getting set up there for what we have to fish for. We got fortunate enough to be able to catch our bass today. We'll see what tomorrow brings.
