We had 38 anglers and caught 2 Barracuda, 43 Calico Bass, 33 Sand Bass, 20 Whitefish, and 190 Sculpin. The bass were biting a little better than yesterday. Ray checked in for the Toronado out of Pierpoint Landing. The Toronado wrapped up their overnight with 2 yellowtail, 4 white seabass, 31 calico bass, 11 sheephead, and 15 whitefish.

Our 26 anglers caught 130 sculpin, 3 barracuda, 36 sand bass, 25 calico bass, and 2 halibut. We had really good bottom fishing and decent surface action. A lot of shorts kept the guys busy. Randy checked in for Pierpoint Landing. Today we had the Enterprise go out til 4 pm, should have a fish count for you this afternoon. The City of Long Beach is GOING FOR SURE this morning at 10 AM. The Enterprise just needs 2 or 3 more to make it a go Tomorrow. City of Long Beach is GOING FOR SURE Tomorrow as well. Enterprise still has a few spots left on Saturday's trip, and plenty of spots left on Sunday. And 1/2-day GOING FOR SURE Saturday, but Sunday needs a few more to make it go. Andrew checked in for the Enterprise out of Pierpoint Landing. Final wrap-up for Wednesday. And like I said this morning, just real good fishing again. Good bass fishing all you want there. Got it done pretty fast. The sand bass and big calico bass, really good fishing. Afternoon, we had good barracuda action. We did catch some nice big ones today. So hopefully some of the big guys are moving in now as well. Ocean was beautiful. We also had some time midday to catch a sculpin. But just overall, good fishing, good action all day long on the surface fish. Lots of bass in the afternoon as well. We just threw back. We already had our limit there. So just good, solid action. We caught 3 Barracuda, 13 Calico Bass, 22 Sand Bass, 305 sculpin, 8 Red Snapper, 3 Sheephead, and 15 whitefish. We managed to do pretty well on the bottom fish then we went and targeted the bass and they cooporated. Decent fishing with a packed boat. We took our 35 passengers out and did the sculpin thing and then caught some rockfish and went on the inside and tried to do our thing. It was slow at first but then it picked up with lots of action. Donny checked in for Pierpoint Landing. This weekend is going to have beautiful weather! Tomorrow, the Enterprise, our 3/4-Day boat will be leaving at 6am! He'll be fishing bass, so bring your surface gear along! The City of Long Beach, our 1/2-Day boat goes at 10am and he will also be fishing bass, sculpin, and rockfish. Joe checked in for the Toronado out of Pierpoint Landing. We are going out tonight, it's a DEFINITE RUN, and only 4 or 5 spots left. We will be getting out at 8 PM and making a day of it tomorrow. Almost full but a handful of spots still open, boat leaves at 8 pm and the cost is $225, for a Sat. in June that's pretty good! We hope to see you down here tonight.

Our 20 anglers caught 3 barracuda, 8 calico bass, 5 sand bass, 100 sculpin (limits), 40 red snapper (limits), 3 sheephead, and 15 whitefish. We caught a pretty good mix. After good bottom fishing, we had good surface action. It would have been better if the sea lions weren't on us. If you're coming out, bring 8-10 oz sinkers and 1/2-1oz leadhead with plastics for ths sculpin, and sliders up 1/4 oz. along with 1-0 and 2-0 hooks to flyline anchovy.
