Andrew checked in for the Enterprise out of Pierpoint Landing. We had much better weather today and better fishing. We already have sand bass on the boat. We also went out and did the bottom fish thing, and caught some sculpin, some snappers, a bunch of reds, lots of whitefish, sheephead, and all kinds of stuff. This afternoon, we'll see if we can get ourselves a little more bass and barracuda. We're putting together a really good day with a super light load, with much better fishing than yesterday. Andrew checked in for the Enterprise out of Pierpoint Landing. Today we had a full boat and lots of rent rods, so we spent the morning fishing the bottom stuff, and in the afternoon those who fished the surface had no problem catching a bass.

Bobby checked in for the City of Long Beach out of Pierpoint Landing. We had a really nice day today for us. Decent weather, a little bit of wind, but pretty nice weather overall. I think our count for our 32 anglers was limits of sculpin, 16 calico bass, 10 sand bass, 6 barracuda, and 26 whitefish for our day today. So pretty good fishing for us. We got a little bait this morning, so that was nice to go do a little surface fishing after our sculpin and get a decent pick on the bass up to 6 pounds. Pretty good fishing overall, and hopefully it continues. Bobby has the latest fish report for you below.

Andrew checked in for the Enterprise out of Pierpoint Landing. Hey guys, your morning report on Thursday. More of the same here today. Really good bass fishing this morning. A couple of bonito, a few other odds and ends, and sheepheads and things too. So real good fishing! Nice-sized fish. And looks like we've got all day left to fish, so let's see what else we can come up with. So we'll have a wrap-up report for you this afternoon. Randy checked in for Pierpoint Landing. Hey gang, this morning we have The City of Long Beach GOING FOR SURE at 10am, August 14th, Thursday. Tomorrow The Enterprise has a private charter, but the half-day will be getting out at 10am as well. Saturday, the Enterprise has more than enough to GO! We still have a few spots open if you're interested. City of Long Beach will be GOING FOR SURE as well, with a lighter load on Saturday. And Sunday still needs a couple more reservations for the Enterprise, but the City of Long Beach will be going as well. Got an update for the bait. We also caught some calico bass, barracuda, bonito, limits of the sculpin, a few other odds and ends on the bottom, one mako shark, and just all about great bass fishing, really biting well. Bobby checked in for the City of Long Beach out of Pierpoint Landing. We had a really beautiful day today with really nice weather for us. It was flat and calm with hardly any wind all day today. We had 28 anglers and had limits of sculpin, limits of reds, 56 miscellaneous rockfish, and about 35 whitefish to go with that too. So pretty good bottom fishing with us. Andrew checked in for the Enterprise out of Pierpoint Landing. We are on our way back to the dock with a really good day of fishing. Like I said earlier, we got a little bit of anchovies today and it made all the difference in the world as far as the bass fishing goes. There was also a little barracuda moving around as well, but every cast with the anchovies and the slider resulted in a nice bass. In the morning, it was really productive as well. In addition to our bass, we caught limits of reds, limits of sculpin, a bunch of rockfish, whitefish, sheephead, and a Mako shark. But just overall, really good bass fishing stuff here. I'm happy to see it. The weather was beautiful all day, and the fish really acted well. It was a good day to be a fisherman, a bad day for the fish. Andrew has the latest fish report for you below.

In the afternoon we caught some nice sand bass up to 8 pounds and a barracuda with the little live bait we had for the hooks.

Not the nice weather we've been having the last four or five days. It was a little bit rougher, so we decided to stick to the bottom most of the day. They will be finishing for for sculpin, bass, and also bring your barracuda gear, in case the barracuda want to show up to play. Also, the City of Long Beach is going at 10am and will be doing the same thing fishing with sardine and squid. They will be looking for the sandbass, rockfish, sculpin, and maybe a few barracuda.
